Liz & Blair were married on Halloween this year … and once again, as with several of the previous weddings … it rained. But we were prepared this time … we had a bridal session scheduled after the wedding! Fortunately we did as it was much darker out due to the rain and timing did not allow us a lengthy portrait session.
Oh, and Blair brews a mighty beer! I need to make a special order for some it was so good!

Liz - Okay so I can’t sleep and I realized that I am just so excited about these photos! For those that don’t know, my dad got incredibly ill the morning of my wedding. Hospital visit even. So I found out en route to the venue that there was just no way he would be making it to the wedding. I am not even sure there are words to fully describe how I felt. I bawled my way down the aisle and was utterly distracted and miserably sad for the majority of the day. Until today, that’s how I remembered my wedding. Sad. But, I don’t know. Somehow these photos have helped. They are showing me the day in a whole new light. I see now that it was a beautiful wedding. We were beautiful. And, really, you can actually feel by looking at these photos how happy Blair and I are together. It’s amazing. I truly wish I had the words that fully embody what your photos mean to me but I’m not that eloquent. So all I can say is Thank You, Mike.November 17, 2009 – 2:04 am
