Karen + Brian. Married at John James Audubon Center

I seriously love you guys.  Thank you for letting me photograph your wonderful wedding!

With lots of DIY and hand-made details, this wedding had the two of them written all over it. Everything looked amazing.

And watch out, Brian’s got some talent with video … I’m excited to see what he will do!

Venue:  John James Audubon Center
Flowers: Sue Davis of Fresh Designs
Caterer: Jeffrey A. Miller Catering

Traci: Venue….vidi…vici….. | Partyspace Blog - [...] (http://ashimagery.com/blog/wedding/karen-brian-married-at-john-james-audubon-center/) Finally, we heard from a friend who is also getting married in the area about her top venue choices. She said the Audubon Center was her number one. So we decided we would go check it out, Chad and I and his Aunt took a ride out there. It was breath-taking. Because the venue is primarily a nature center, there are beautiful birds, flowers, trees, and small animals. Every time we go we see groundhogs! No foxes yet though! The driveway to get to space was just like Glen Foerd’s, tree-lined and long, hiding the venue from site. Talk about a dramatic entrance. Then, you pull up to a outside pavilion with a fireplace. The pavilion is curtained lined so that you can close off the area if you needed to. Further down, there is an apple orchard and a barn. The inside of the barn is beautifully rustic. Then, behind the barn, there is the original house of the Audobons which has been converted into a museum. Inside the museum, there are local animals and birds that have preserved and several hand painted murals. The house sits atop a steep hill, over looking the Valley Forge National Park and Schuylkill River. The apple orchard is perfect for the ceremony or the magnolia tree or even in the barn! Once we decided we wanted to book, Chad’s mom came see it and then, we did another visit with my mother. [...]November 28, 2011 – 7:31 pm
