I feel like I have known Ashley for ages. While it hasn't really been that long, she contacted me a long time ago and asked me to photograph her wedding. I did their engagement session 16 months before the wedding - thats a fair amount of time. As I've said before, its always an honor to photograph another photographer's wedding. Its an honor and also a bit nerve-racking. Not the wedding part - thats always fun - but the after part. Otherwise known as the "I hope they like these" part. I feel like its much more prominent when I photograph my colleagues. Will they like it? Did I do ok? But when I got down to going through Ashley's wedding I was confident she'd be excited about it. She was very excited about marrying Marshall ... she loves the man to death. So I just stepped back and documented the story as it unfolded. Thanks to my good friend Kaitlin who made the drive from Winston-Salem to assist me. You are awesome!
