According to the t.v. show, its Always Sunny in Philadelphia … well, this summer, it hasn’t been. It has rained a lot and has been overcast often. And even though many of the days were sunny, by the time sunset arrived, it was cloudy. So when I photographed Brandi & Andrew down in center city, i was elated to see the sun was actually sticking around!!! And boy does it change your pictures … so much brightness, happiness, warmth … just like Brandi & Andrew.
The first word that comes to mind when thinking of Joanna & Matt’s wedding is … casual. Backyard – check. Pool – check. Pool Bar – check. Hamburgers & Hotdogs for dinner – double check.
The day was sunny … the weather warm … and the atmosphere fun and low-key … I don’t think they could have planned it any better!

I just realized every time I met up with Sarah & Dan, the weather was crazy. When we first met it rained … the engagement session was made beautiful by a wonderful snowfall, and at their wedding it rained and had some nice thunderstorms. You guys should take this as positive signs 
Their outside vineyard wedding was beautiful … and the ceremony was completed before the rain started. I didn’t mind the rain though … it makes all the colors more rich and vivid!
Even after it rained … a lot … they were still married. And I’d like to add they were willing to do whatever I asked – which is awesome. I had Sarah outside at 10pm in the rain, in a thunderstorm none-the-less, taking pics. Now thats dedication!
I’m glad to have met the two of you and I wish you a wonderful marriage.

In Pennsylvania … every single day is up in the air weather-wise. I swear weather forecaster’s say chance of rain every day solely for the reason it could happen. So when you get a bright, sunny, beautiful day on a Saturday in July … with no rain in the forecast and its not ridiculously humid … you get excited. Granted by the end of the day it was overcast as usual … for the most part, the weather was beautiful. And this was the day Stephanie and Mike got married. July 4th.

When I met Alison I got excited for her wedding. She was very energetic and excited for her wedding and what they had planned. The theme of the wedding was 50’s style with a modern twist … and i think they pulled it off. The wedding was held at the beautiful Baldwin School just outside of Philly and it was a wonderful venue for a wedding. It’s history and story come out the moment you step foot in the entrance reminding you something out of Harry Potter. It fit the style and personality of Alison and Steve wonderfully … and you could tell they were having a blast from the constant smiles on their faces.
I wish you all the best Alison and Steve and thank you for inviting me to take part in your special day !!
