Back in early September I had the opportunity to assist the talented photographer behind Poser … Erik Clausen. I’m posting a few of my shots from the wedding to give a shout out to him as he just posted the finished wedding up on his blog … so go check that awesomeness out!

Normally after shooting for 11hrs you would want the next day to relax … especially when the next day starts your mini-vacation. Instead, my buddy Ken – who is the brains behind the Ken Kienow brand – stopped out and we asked (dragged) my wife into the desert to model for us. And she did it – without any hesitation – cause she rules! So here are a few shots from the real quick session – plus one Ken took using the Mamiya rz67 of my wife and I !

The wedding was held at La Quinta Resort & Spa right outside of beautiful Palm Springs!

Since this wedding season has been quite rainy, i didn’t flinch when i looked at the forecast for this particular Saturday and it called for rain. I had gotten so used to seeing it. Even when I left my house that morning it still looked dreary out. But the rain gods gave Alisha & Jake a break for their wedding … just as everyone starting arriving, the clouds parted and the sun came out making the already joyous mood even better!
What a beautiful wedding this was. I know Alisha put a lot of work into this and it paid off for sure. So many of the details were done by her or family.
Congratulations Alisha & Jake, I wish you both a wonderful marriage!
