Canale Family | Philadelphia Portrait Photographer

Family sessions are rare.  I believe this is only my 2nd this year.  None-the-less, when the family lets me do my thing – they are so fun.  The Canale’s were all for this approach and just let me go!  We went to a local park and just hang out – talked about our kids – all the while allowing me to just snap away.  I probably went a tad overboard but i couldn’t help it … just look at their daughter … she is beautiful!!!

Stephanie & Mike | Philadelphia Wedding Photographer

In Pennsylvania … every single day is up in the air weather-wise.  I swear weather forecaster’s say chance of rain every day solely for the reason it could happen.  So when you get a bright, sunny, beautiful day on a Saturday in July … with no rain in the forecast and its not ridiculously humid … you get excited.  Granted by the end of the day it was overcast as usual … for the most part, the weather was beautiful.  And this was the day Stephanie and Mike got married.  July 4th.

Congratulations Stephanie & Mike … I wish you a wonderful life together :)

Thanks to Trinity of Summer House Photo for assisting me.

Alison & Steve | Philadelphia Wedding Photographer

When I met Alison I got excited for her wedding.  She was very energetic and excited for her wedding and what they had planned.  The theme of the wedding was 50’s style with a modern twist … and i think they pulled it off.  The wedding was held at the beautiful Baldwin School just outside of Philly and it was a wonderful venue for a wedding.  It’s history and story come out the moment you step foot in the entrance reminding you something out of Harry Potter.  It fit the style and personality of Alison and Steve wonderfully … and you could tell they were having a blast from the constant smiles on their faces.

I wish you all the best Alison and Steve and thank you for inviting me to take part in your special day !!

My friend Kimberly Fink planned this event and she did an awesome job :)

Check out that gorgeous light right before the reception!!!

Elizabeth & Lennie | Philadelphia Wedding Photographer

Rain. Sun. Rain. Sun.  That was Elizabeth and Lennie’s wedding day.  Even though the ceremony had to be held inside, they were still happy.  And even though the plan of having shots of them on their “bikes” fell thru from the rain, they were happy.  Somehow, between the downpours, we snuck in all the formals and portrait session and were blessed with a rainbow at the end.  The rain came but it didn’t damper their mood.  In the end, they were married … and they were happy.

Congratulations Elizabeth & Lennie !!

Ashi & Umi Indian Wedding | Philadelphia Wedding Photographer

I’ve been looking forward to this post and I’m excited to finally see it come together.

Ashi & Umi’s wedding took place in Houston, Texas … and all their events were hotter than the weather.  Awesome food … awesome people … awesome locations.  4 days.  Numerous events.  Partying, laughing, crying … and that was just me!!  ha.  This wedding was amazing … the colors, the events, the images.  I don’t believe anyone got very much sleep!

But in the end … the most important thing happened.  My friends, Ashi & Umi, are now married.  And I am truly grateful that asked me to photograph such a special time in their lives.

Now, with have so many events its hard to narrow down images to blog … so I selected images from the main event, the wedding day – Saturday.  OH … and be sure to take a look at their cake … holy amazing!!

I wish the two of you all the best !!

Thanks to my two new friends, Angelique & Debbie, for assisting me at a couple events.  Both are photographers in the Houston area so go check them out :)
