… at least for Amy & Jimmy it did.  

I was a 2nd shooter for this wedding and the bride, Amy, was sick.  At first everyone thought it was nerves … turns out, it wasn’t.  It was the stomach bug.  But Amy hung in there … and sucked it up.  It was amazing really.  Yeah, there was some times where she had to take some breaks but man, i give her ALL the credit in the world.  She was awesome.  Everyone was awesome.  The sun and wind both made their presence known … thats for sure.  

Oh … and the wedding party did the “robot” at the reception … so killer!

This was the second session of a 2 session day a few weekends ago.  Fortunately for Celeste & Doug, they were able to snag some sun out of it … and then the temperature warmed up real quick!  About halfway thru the sun burned through the dreary skies … just as we were making our way around a corner … there it was just waiting for us.  Sun flares galore !! 

These guys were awesome … I had them doing all sorts of stuff and I think they got some really cool images for their hard work.  Their wedding is next month and I am really looking forward to that day after seeing what we got from this!  

Just look at these bad boys … sigh … Letterpress logo and info on a super thick 600 gram stock card … you don’t ever want to put them down!  Seriously … thanks so much to Zida at Studio Z out in Cali.  I saw these cards posted on a blog a while back and decided to give Zida a call … let me tell you, these are worth getting!  You will NOT be disappointed … check out the site.  They do all sorts of letter press stuff so you may be interested in something else they offer.

So … here’s what i’ve been listening to this past couple weeks.

RED released a new album and its pretty wicked.  Its straight up hard rock … similar to Breaking Benjamin – perhaps my favorite band.  RED slows it down a little though for a few songs and they do a crazy awesome cover of Duran Duran’s “Ordinary World” … i can’t stop listening to it !!

All and all its a great album and if you like hard rock … especially blasting it while driving … i definitely recommend grabbing the album or downloading it from iTunes.

As for photography … i’ve been crazy busy so be on the lookout for LOTS of stuff coming real soon … i promise
