If you like heavy rain in 40 degree weather … city streets filled with puddles … driving wind along a river … and umbrellas that are hanging on for dear life – then you would LOVE this session!!

I was proud of these two for sucking it up completing the session.  I knew it was going to be hard to reschedule them so we decided to do the shoot – and better yet – we decided to WALK the whole thing.  Haha .. still, after all that we had a blast and got some pretty killer shots out of it.

So i got the chance to meet up with some fellow flickr friends, Tara, Donna, & Ralph down in Philly today.  I’ve yet to have the chance to hang with a bunch of photographers so this was awesome.  I somehow coerced Donna into doing a bit of modeling for a minute there.  And lunch … that was just wonderful  Anyway .. here’s a few shots from the day.  I can’t wait to hang out with these guys again soon !!!

Be on the lookout for a ton of new stuff in the near future.  I’ve got some more time on my hands these days (yay) and will be posting several sessions soon.  First up … an engagement session from a couple weekends ago!

Part 2 of the weekend i spent in DC …

Meet Kerilyn & Peter … the vibrant couple from the DC area.  Kerilyn has such a good soul … she always has a positive spin on everyday life and is constantly giving back to her community by volunteering.  She definitely has a deep appreciation love and life … you can see it on her face.  And Peter .. well Peter is just a darn good cook.  He’s the executive chef at Lias in DC … www.liasrestaurant.com … and i was treated to a wonderful meal the night before our session.  Seriously … if you live in DC or will be there in the future … stop into Lias!

These guys know how to laugh … and you can tell from the images they had a great time.  By then end they were extremely comfortable.  But while the session had to end … it just prepared us for their wedding in September – which i am looking forward to.  See you soon guys !!

Coming up … a bunch of new engagement sessions … a wedding … and even a couple family sessions !!  Its about to get all crazy on this blog so be on the lookout !

These guys are seriously one of my favorite bands … talk about chillout music!  You will find 2 of their songs on my website (that i got permission to use) and I could listen to this band all day long.  I don’t want to put them in a category as they cross many lines … but if you like bands such as Sigur Ros, Milosh, and Imogen Heap you will probably like The Album Leaf.

Like I mentioned before … Washington DC was pretty wicked.  It started with a bang on Saturday morning with these 2 … friends of a couple i’m photographing in Houston in June.  Nevermind the misty drizzle … the crowds of people … and the constant threat of a downpour … Tammy & Kimon were ready to rock!!  I’m pretty sure you can tell that from these images … wow !
