Last weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in Help Portrait (click here to see what its all about) and take pictures for a beautiful family that I was recently introduced to.

It all started at a wedding back in October.  There I was introduced to Dini, by the bride, as she was a photographer as well.  We talked shop for a bit and said we’d keep in touch.  A month or so later I found out some issues within the family and decided I could help out with photography.  I quickly set up the session.  I know i’m blessed to be able to take pictures for a living and I wanted to extend that ability to help out someone else.  I came away with a wonderful experience and 2 people I can call friends.

No, not senior citizens.  High School seniors.  I’m looking for you.

And to get the ball rolling I’m offering 1 session at no cost.  Free.  All you need to do is show up and rock out.  Now, this isn’t your typical senior session – i’m looking for outgoing, vibrant and stylish individuals that can work the camera … ok ok, well … just be cool … and i’ll take care of the rest.

So here’s what you need to do.  Snag a pic of yourself and email it to me along with a quick reason as to why i should pick you.  Be creative.  Get friends involved if you need to … whatever.

So … time limit.  Lets say by the end of this year depending on the responses.  If the response is crazy big I may have to end it quicker – so get your submissions in now!

And i’ll travel anywhere.  I don’t care.  Keep in mind the session is free.  Not the travel

Meet Lynnia.  She’s an aspiring actress from Philly with an infectious vibe and wonderful personality.

Shot in Manayunk … just outside of Philadelphia.  A sweet town full of shops and restaurants.  They couldn’t have asked for a better day in November … in Philly.
